Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) is a non-steroidal drug with good antiestrogenic action. It is an antagonist and similar to an estrogen agonist in various tissues. This means that Nolvadex effectively prevents the binding of the hormone estrogen to estrogen receptors.

In medicine, it is used to treat women with breast cancer at the tumor level. In bodybuilding, Nolvadex is used as an anti-estrogenic agent that has the effect of stopping aromatization and preventing the formation of gynecomastia, which can occur with the use of anabolic steroids.

Nolvadex does not completely block the conversion of anabolics to estrogen, its valuable effect is that it does not allow the already increased estrogen to bind to tissue estrogen receptors. This makes gynecomastia impossible.

Sensitive individuals prone to gynecomastia who have decided to take highly flavoring steroids should take at least 1 tablet of Nolvadex daily to control aromatization. The intake can continue for several weeks after the end of the steroid cycle, as the recovery in hormone levels lags behind.

Doses of Nolvadex should range from 20-40 mg per day. If you take it after steroid therapy without drugs such as Arimidex, you can take 40 mg every day. If you use it during your cycle, in order to prevent gynecomastia, take 20 mg every day.
